“No more than I can handle.” He gruffly responded. He was meant to be the rock that everyone depended on even if he felt like he was drowning in a sea of unfamiliar faces and complete choas. She did not need to know that. He was her captain and as her captain it was her duty to remain collected. Thank goodness, Mashiro wasn’t around. She would have had him yelling and losing face. Not something he liked at all. Picking up a few folders on his desk he turned to his fourth seat. “I can’t find my idiot lieutenant either so could you help me with these?” It wasn’t wrong to ask for help, especially not when he needed it.

He was gruff, much more than the previous taichou. With that came the realization that the atmosphere was to change, but maybe it was for the better. It was not fair in the slightest to judge the two, and she looked forward to working for him She was the gentle one among her squad, looking after everyone more than her own well-being and, as such, she too had to hold it together no matter what came her way. She’ll just have to apologize to her taichou when she became stricken with her illness.

His request was responded with eager hands, ready to help him out with whatever he needed. “Of course! What would you like me to do?”
